“A l’esplorassion ‘d Rivarol” is a project created by two volunteers of the Universal Civil Service, Sara Maero and Loredana Vallero, who carried out their activities at the Pro Loco of Rivarolo Canavese between 2025 and 2026.

During their service, the volunteers worked within the Tourist Office of Rivarolo Canavese, where they had the opportunity to explore and interact with the available tourist materials. From their observation of these resources came the idea for a project aimed at improving cultural and sensory accessibility, extending it outdoors—into the urban fabric, the heart of the city’s history and identity.

The goal of the project is to offer visitors—Italian and foreign, adults and children alike—the opportunity to discover the city and its dialect in an inclusive, simple, and enjoyable way, through both analog and digital tools.

While walking through Rivarolo, visitors will find information panels at the most significant sites, telling the story of the local area. Thanks to QR codes, they will be able to access additional content: voice narration, multilingual translations, sections dedicated to children, and interactive activities designed to engage a diverse audience.

The captions for children have been written according to the “Easy to read” method, thanks to the collaboration with the ANFFAS Association of Rivarolo Canavese.

“A l’esplorassion ‘d Rivarol” es un proyecto creado por dos voluntarias del Servicio Civil Universal, Sara Maero y Loredana Vallero, activas en la Pro Loco de Rivarolo Canavese entre 2025 y 2026.

Durante su servicio en la Oficina de Turismo de Rivarolo Canavese, las voluntarias conocieron de cerca el material informativo disponible. A partir de esta observación nació la idea de un proyecto para mejorar la accesibilidad cultural y sensorial, no solo en los espacios de acogida, sino también en el exterior, en el tejido urbano, corazón de la historia y de la identidad de la ciudad.

El objetivo es ofrecer a visitantes italianos y extranjeros, adultos y niños, la posibilidad de descubrir la ciudad y su dialecto de forma inclusiva, sencilla y divertida, mediante herramientas analógicas y digitales.

Paseando por Rivarolo, será posible encontrar paneles informativos en los lugares más significativos de la ciudad, pensados para contar su historia y acompañar a los visitantes en un recorrido accesible y atractivo.

Gracias a los códigos QR, se podrán consultar contenidos adicionales como síntesis vocal, traducciones multilingües, secciones dedicadas a los niños y actividades interactivas, de modo que se impliquen públicos diversos.

Las leyendas para niños han sido redactadas según el método “Fácil de leer”, gracias a la colaboración con la Asociación ANFFAS de Rivarolo Canavese.
